| The
Aquaciser is an underwater treadmill that can either rehabilitate horses or help initially get a horse into shape. There are several personnel at Santa Escolastica that have experience with the operation of the Aquaciser. As such, this machine can be used for specific and individual training needs of Santa Escolástica's clients' horses. Dr. Rhonda Rathgeber, Ph.D., DVM from Hagyard-Davidson-McGee Associates closely assists those who engage their horses in a training program using the Aquaciser at Santa Escolastica.

![]() While in use, water fills the Aquaciser up to the base of the horse's neck. Each walk or swim is monitored by two people. |
